Form 1099 and W-2 Filing Deadline Approaching
The April 1, 2013 E-File deadline is approaching for Forms 1099 and W-2. If you used ExpressTaxFilings to prepare your forms, they have already been E-Filed to the appropriate office and you are done.
If you chose to paper file, the deadline was February 28, 2013 and you were required to file Form 1096, Annual Summary and Transmittal of U.S. Information Returns. If you failed to mail them by February 28th, you must E-File to avoid penalties.
