Our staff management feature now has a fresh name—BanditCollab—and it comes with enhanced options to further streamline your workflow and team collaboration. Whether you’re assigning tasks or tracking filing progress, BanditCollab simplifies the entire process, making team management smoother and more organized. 

Manage Your Team’s Account Access and Responsibilities 

With TaxBandits, you can assign distinct roles to your team, clarifying responsibilities and making delegation straightforward and effective.

• Admin: In the role of Admin, they have complete control over all facets of the filing process. This position allows them to oversee and manage each component of the workflow, ensuring that every task is executed accurately and punctually.
• Co-Admin:  This role supports the Admin by performing most functions necessary for managing the filing process. The co-admin will have the same permissions as the Admin, except they cannot assign the Co-admin role to others.
• Preparer: This role will enable the staff to prepare and edit tax forms, managing the initial stage of the filing process to set the foundation for a successful filing.
• Approver: This role allows the staff to review and approve the prepared forms, guaranteeing that they meet compliance standards and are error-free. 
• Transmitter: This role manages the payment process for the approved forms. Once everything is finalized, transmitters will file the forms with the IRS or relevant state agencies, completing the filing process efficiently and accurately.

The Bandit Role System

In addition to the new name, we’ve revamped our role settings under the Bandit Role System. These roles are designed to offer flexibility based on the level of access your team members need:

BanditSolo (No role):

This is for your team members without specific roles and with the same permission. Under the BanditSolo, all your team members will have equal level of access.

BanditDuo (Two roles):

Allows for two roles within the system, providing flexibility for those handling multiple responsibilities. Under this system, you can have two different roles with varying levels of permissions. This includes:

• Preparer
• Approver

BanditTrio (Three Roles):

This system grants access to three roles that are suitable for team members managing different aspects of the tax filing process. This includes:

• Preparer
• Approver
• Transmitter

Manage Groups in BanditCollab

This feature allows you to easily create groups based on specific criteria such as location, form type, or any other relevant parameters. Each group will have an auto-generated ID that you can modify if necessary to suit your organizational needs better. The intuitive design of the manage group feature ensures that it’s easy to use, even for those new to the platform.  

Activity Log

The Activity Log lets you easily identify who is responsible for specific actions. This accountability helps ensure that team members are diligent in their roles and allows for quick resolution of any issues. By monitoring activities in real time, you can ensure that deadlines are being met and that tasks are on track.
