Adding your Team Members – there’s room for everyone!
Unlock endless possibilities with TaxBandits, where there’s no limit to the number of team members you can invite to your account! Easily add your entire team by sending an invitation with their email address.
You can do this directly from your Dashboard by selecting the ‘Manage Staff’ option.
You can then ‘Add Staff’ either manually or in bulk!
Your team will be sent an invite email prompting them to access your account. There is no need to share your account password because your team members will all create their unique login credentials.
Delegation: Assign your Team Roles and Permissions
Your team members have a range of skills and responsibilities and TaxBandits allows you to account for this. When inviting your staff members, you can assign them specific roles. If you want the team member to have all of the access and permissions of an admin (minus the ability to add other Co-Admins), you can make them a Co-Admin instead.
While the Co-Admin role has the most access and permissions in your account, there are three other roles to choose from. Each of these roles has specific permissions that allow them to complete the tasks for the businesses that they are responsible for.
Here is a quick outline:
Create and edit forms for their assigned businesses
Can add new businesses
Create, Edit and Approve forms/Add new businesses
Can add and share new credit cards.
Pay and transmit approved forms for their assigned businesses
Grant Online Access and place Postal Mailing orders.
Can I Change the Roles I Give my Team Members?
Yes! We understand that your team will grow and change, so we give you the flexibility to account for this. You can easily deactivate staff members if needed.
Updating your staff member’s role is a simple process, in the ‘Manage Staff’ section of your account.
Click on the ‘Pencil’ icon to:
Then, drop down the ‘Staff Role’ menu in this pop-up and select the new role type.
To complete the process, click ‘Save’.
If you want to upgrade the team member to the role of ‘Co-Admin’, click the “three-dot” icon to the Right of their name and select that option.
Can I Track My Team and the Forms they Prepare and File?
Yes! Once you’ve delegated tasks to your team, you can track their progress. This can be done easily using the activity log in your account. You can both track the progress of each staff member, but you can generate reports that summarize this information.
