IRS Deadline to File 1099 & W-2

The IRS has honored this day, the 31st of March, by making it the E-filing Deadline of Forms 1099 & W-2. Many have let the deadline pass them by and they paid the price of IRS penalties. Don’t let the actions of those before you hinder your e-filing destiny. You can file by 3 p.m. EST to guarantee IRS acceptance. Follow this ExpressTaxFilings Guide to transmit your return and avoid IRS penalties

Step 1 – Create Your Account
If you already have an account, advance to the next step. You will need to create an account with ExpressTaxFilings to transmit forms to the IRS. It only takes a second and only requires your contact information and a password.
Step 2 – Choose Your Form
Once you are signed in and ready to file. Choose the form you wish to file. ExpressTaxFilings provides numerous forms, including: 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-MISC, W-2, and corrections forms.
Step 3 – Enter Required Information
There are guided prompts to make sure all required information is entered. You will be able to review all the information before you transmit your form to the IRS.
Step 4 – Choose to File State, Federal, or Both.
You will have the option to file with your state, federal, or both if your state participates in the Combined Federal/State Filing (CF/SF) Program. For more information on state requirements, visit our State Filings page.
Step 5 – Pay & Transmit
Our system will run a quick diagnostic check to make sure there is no required information missing from your return(s). You will then be able to review your return(s) one more time before entering your payment information. The final step will be to click Transmit, and your return(s) are off to the IRS.
You will receive automatic notification as soon as your forms are accepted by the IRS.
