September 11, 2001, what most assumed to be a typical, clear Tuesday morning, would drastically change for the worse at 8:45 a.m. when the first of two airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City. With two additional plane crashes to follow, almost 3,000 people were killed during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Today, TaxBandits pauses to remember those who were lost and pray for the brave men and women who continue to fight for our country.
In the midst of so much negativity in the world, many special events have been planned nationwide to honor those affected by the attacks on September 11th. Locally, The 2018 Charlotte Firefighters 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb was held Saturday as a way for the Charlotte, North Carolina community to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11th, the day that changed America forever. Participants climb or walk the equivalent of the World Trade Center’s 110 stories while carrying the name and photo of a fallen hero to symbolize the completion of their climb.
Proceeds from this event benefited the FDNY Counseling Services Unit, along with programs of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation that honors firefighters who perished in the line of duty and provides assistance to their families.

A Day To Never Forget
As long as we live, may we never forget what happened on 9/11 and remain in pursuit of wisdom and courage to deal with those whose philosophy thrives on hate. Our continued prayers are still with all who were affected on this tragic day.
