How to Add and Manage Staff in Your TaxBandits Tax Pro Account
As a tax preparer, we know you have a lot on your plate! Adding staff to your TaxBandits account allows you to assign businesses and roles to your team. This makes filing for your clients easy, secure, and efficient!
Here’s how you can add staff to your TaxBandits account:
Once you’ve signed in, click the orange square in the upper right corner:
Select “Manage Staff”:
Click “Add Staff”:
Add their name and email address, then select if you want them to have Co-Admin access.
*Co-Admin have the same privileges as the Admin, except the Co-admin cannot assign other staff as co-admins:
Select the role you want this team member to have:
Preparers Can:
- Create and edit forms for the assigned businesses.
- Add new businesses. (If a preparer adds a business, the staff will be automatically assigned with the default role of “Preparer”.)
* Note: Preparers are not allowed to pay and transmit forms, and they cannot view unassigned businesses available in the admin account.
Approvers can:
- Create and edit forms for the assigned businesses.
- Pay and transmit forms for the assigned business.
- Add new businesses. (If an approver adds a business, the staff will be automatically assigned with the default role of “Approver”.
- Add and share new credit cards.
*Note: Approvers cannot view unassigned businesses available in the admin account.
Assign businesses by clicking “Assign Business”:
Then select the businesses you want to provide the staff member access to and click “Assign”:
The staff member will then receive an email prompting them to access their account by setting a password. You can manage your staff any time under your settings:
